The Maryland Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will hold a series of public virtual briefings to examine the death penalty in the state. The Committee will hold panels throughout the fall. Future panels will be announced.

The Committee invites members of the public to share a public comment at any of the scheduled panels. Additionally, members of the public are welcome to submit written comments to Brooke Peery at bpeery@usccr.gov. The Committee will accept written comments until 30 days after their last panel.
