Media and Communications

The Commission’s Director of Media and Communications provides assistance and answers to questions for members of the news media. Only the Chairperson and Staff Director may discuss Commission policy or provide official statements on behalf of the Commission. In certain instances, Commission staff may arrange for an official response.

Regional Programs Unit

The Commission's Regional Programs Unit office is located in Chicago, and is staffed by a director, civil rights analysts, and other administrative personnel. They coordinate the Commission's operations in regions across the U.S. and assist Advisory Committees in their activities.
