Indiana Advisory Committee Public Briefing on Hate Crimes in Indiana - Panel V

The Indiana Advisory Committee (Committee) to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) is examining how hate crimes are processed and treated in Indiana. This study includes an assessment of whether gaps or loopholes in state and federal data, policies, and laws impair hate crime law enforcement and reporting.

The Committee is hosting additional briefings to take testimony from a broad range of subject-matter experts. The invited experts will offer national and/or Indiana-specific data and information on this topic. More details about this and future panel briefings will be shared on the information page here.
