Community Forum on Zoning and Fair Housing in Connecticut

The Connecticut Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights invites the community to share their perspectives and experiences about housing in Connecticut. The forum is virtual and open to the public.

The Committee is looking at whether Connecticut’s zoning practices contribute to it being of one of the most segregated states in the country. The Committee has heard from public officials and advocates and now wants to hear from those directly affected by these policies.

The Committee invites the public to come and tell their own story and participants are asked to keep their comments to 5 minutes. Although no registration is necessary, you may sign up in advance at ero@usccr.gov. You may also sign up during the virtual forum.
