The goal of the Office is to make DOD a model of EEO/EO programs and accomplishments through policy development and oversight for DOD components. The Office monitors progress through statistical and narrative analysis and prepares reports to senior executives within DOD, to Congress, and to other Federal agencies. It also develops policies for DOD-wide special observances and outreach programs.
