The South Dakota Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will hold a meeting on Monday, December 6, 1999 in Rapid City, S.D., to obtain information on administration of justice issues affecting Native Americans in South Dakota.
The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn (Rushmore Plaza), 505 North 5th St., Rapid City, South Dakota, beginning at 10:30 AM and adjourning at approximately 9:00 PM. In addition to officials at the local, State, and Federal level, witnesses will include tribal and community leaders and interested individuals.
Several commissioners from the U.S. Commission plan to attend the meeting.
