On August 20 and 22 the Hawaii SAC will speak with the state Attorney General to discuss the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act of 2007, also known as the Akaka Bill. On September 5 the Hawaii SAC will hold a briefing to discuss the Akaka Bill. On September 12, 13 and 14 the Hawaii SAC will host subcommittee meetings to allow the general public to present their opinions to Committee members regarding the Akaka Bill. |
