Internships
Internships at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights provide high school, college, and graduate and professional school students with opportunities to gain practical work experience. Our interns work on challenging research projects, social scientific studies, and current legal issues involving federal civil rights enforcement and policies. We also provide opportunities to gain experience in the areas of human resources and finance.
Our Student Volunteer Service Program provides unpaid training to students in high school, and college, graduate and professional school. In some instances, academic credit may be available. We are especially committed to developing students in the academic areas of law, social science, statistics, political science, human resources management and finance. The volunteer program allows students to explore career options as well as develop their personal and professional skills. The program is active year-round and there are no application deadlines.
